We will be hosting MoRivCC Video Recording Sessions on Saturdays in January and February beginning January 14
Winter Sessions will feature the areas Finest Singer/Songwriters
in the Cooper's Landing Gathering Roo
Cooper's Landing is a gathering place for artists, singers
and local musicians. We feature local musicians performing
original music. All our events are free to the public. Generally the music
is low key and perfect for a relaxed dining atmosphere. Occasionally a local
band will be featured with a festival atmosphere. Some events will be video
recorded in partnership with the Missouri River Cultural Conservancy, MoRivCC.
Several festival events
occur every year. Fundraising events for local not for profit organizations
and other charities occur primarily in the spring and fall. These festivals
provide a variety of entertainment such as dance, art, poetry, plays as well
as local original music. The EcoArtFest, an environmental fair and art show,
has become an annual fall event and is an excellent opportunity for local
artists and craft people of all types.
Dine and enjoy the unique setting with an eclectic crowd which arrives by
automobile from the nearby cities, bicycles on the Katy Trail or boaters landing
at our commercial boat dock . A secure and peaceful environment is considered
important to the families who bring their children and their grandparents
to enjoy the unique view and atmosphere. Cussing and excessive drinking are
not allowed. We allow no carry in food or drinks.
Cooper's Landing is also an excellent place to host wedding receptions, retirement
parties and business meetings. The indoor "Gathering Room" seats 30 at tables
and is used for a variety of purposes. Even if there is music and dance going
on outside there is a quiet room available for your meeting in the Gathering
Room.
Musicians, the gathering room is available year round as
a practice room and recording studio. Winter Sessions video recording
sessions take place primarily in January through March. Please call
to check on availability and to make reservations.
